Johnnie Walker brand to include fashion

Johnnie Walker, the Scotch whisky brand owned by Diageo, the world leader of the premium drinks sector, will be signing its first menswear line.

Due to be presented at Pitti Uomo in Florence, the collection has been designed by Maurizio Bonas and produced under license by the Vicenza-based knitwear specialist, Franco Ziche.

The Johnnie Walker Collection will be on sale from next winter in the United States and throughout Europe, with the exception of such countries as Denmark, Finland and Hungary, where the sale of alcohol is prohibited. Future strategies will also include Asian markets.
