
Fashion: Italy-France protocol of understanding signed
Oriented towards the excellence and quality of Made in Italy and Made in France, the Italy-France protocol of understanding to strengthen collaboration in the fashion sector and curb unfair competition was signed this morning in Milan.
The protocol was signed by the president of the Fédération Français de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Createurs de Mode, Didier Grumbach, the president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Mario Borselli, the president of the Lombardy Region, Roberto Formigoni, the vice minister for production, Adolfo Urso, and the French minister of trade, François Loos.
Created October 2004, the understanding includes the coordination of fashion show calendars, the development of the use of new media technologies for the diffusion of fashion ideas, joint support at Community level for safeguarding intellectual and industrial property, and the promotion of products in European and other markets.
