Exalt Cycle with Raoul Meyer on the 'Pharaohs Rally'

September 26 in Cairo will be the start of the Exalt Cycle by VidiVici adventure in the Pharaohs Rally with Raoul Meyer, Brigitte Nielsen's ex, who will be toughing it out in the desert with Gianni Lora Lamia in an aggressive Fornasari.

Raoul MeyerSet up in 1982, thanks also to the enthusiasm of such celebrities as Jacky Ickx, Vincenzo Lancia and Daniele Cotto, the Pharaohs Rally is now officially one of the world's legendary races.

Raoul said 'I've always been passionate about engines. I took part in the Porshe Supercup Championship, I raced Ferraris with Arturo Merzario, I've experienced the thrill of the Paris-Dakar twice, so I couldn't miss out on the Pharaohs Rally. Exalt Cycle is also with me. The race is a tough one, the light in the desert is treacherous, the sand tricky and glasses are an important variable in competition equipment'.

Sunrise is the model selected. Lightweight, wraparound glasses for all-round protection from dust and light, they are technologically advanced, able to stand up to scorching heat and severe drops in temperature, they have highly protective top-quality lenses and a gutsy, innovative design. They're the perfect balance between performance and design to meet the needs of a popular sport that is increasingly linked to show business and fashion.

Rai Sport, Sport Italia, Sky with 'Nuvolari', La7 and EuroSport are just some of the TV channels covering the event through its various stages up to the finishing line, with live broadcasts, interviews and replays. Lele Danzi, General Manager of VidiVici Occhiali, has no doubts: 'The Pharaohs Rally is an extremely important event and is the focus of local and international press and TV interest. For this reason and because of its 'esprit', we are thrilled at the idea of protecting Raoul Meyer's sight'.
