Christmas rewards luxury securities

The Christmas season at the Stock Exchange often rewards the securities of companies of the luxury division, highlighted in the wake of the race for gifts. This trend was confirmed also during the current 2005 weeks.

Three examples for all: Bulgari, Luxottica and Geox.The giant of jewellery as from the last minimum intraday recorded during the session of October 15th, (€ 8.355) gained one Euro per share and was one of the most brilliant securities of the whole Stock Exchange list last month. Bulgari is not new to these performances: by observing the historical diagram of the security, in most cases, over the last few years, all-time peaks were reached in December or shortly before.

Good also for Luxottica even if with a less marked increase. The Company of Del Vecchio reached its relative minimum during the session of October 28th (€ 19.32), and is now firmly above € 21.

The best performance is that of Geox. At the end of summer, the group of Mario Moretti Polegato was travelling at the height of € 7 whereas it is currently just under € 9.5. During November, it was a protagonist if a real rally, started initially by the period accounts and then by the excellent comments of the analysts.
