Blue Bay campaign designed by Jason Brooks
The new ad campaign dedicated to the collection of Blue Bay sunglasses and prescription frames, guaranteed by the quality of the Safilo Group, is assured to turn heads. Bubbly designs, brilliant colours and a super trendy feel: the new advertising pictures reflect the young, lively spirit of eyewear models that are guaranteed to be big news in coming months.
The creative talent behind the new pictures is British illustrator, Jason Brooks, who has been designing the Blue Bay ad campaign with his own refreshing style for several years now. Jason Brooks began working as a freelance illustrator while attending Central St. Martin's college in London, and later the city's Royal College of Art. Brooks has also won the coveted 'Vogue/Sothebys Award for Fashion Illustration' and has worked for important publications like Visionaire and Max.
For the new season, Jason Brooks created a number of clean-lined images in pastel colours. The stars of the pictures are several animated young girls sporting the new collection's hottest styles.
The B&B 531 prescription frame is a rectangular shaped acetate model with the 'Blue Bay' logo screenprinted at the tenon of the temples. It is available in vibrant colours including red, cyclamen, purple and emerald.
B&B 549/s, meanwhile, is a maxi sized sunglasses mask in metal with rounded design, sporting the 'B&B' logo etched next to the hinges. It comes in glossy, fashionable hues of purple, sky blue, white and sand.
The pictures were also used to create numerous shop window ads for opticians' stores. The Blue Bay collection of optical frames and sunglasses, that in January 2005 presents twenty new models and is designed by Enzo Sopracolle, is available in the best opticians' store.
