Area's spring activities

Area has organized a full agenda of trade fair and promotional events for 2005. The company has always been committed to maintaining optimal levels of visibility on the international market, and after its success in München, where it was represented by its own distributors, and Shanghai, it will be attending Msso in Moscow and International Vision Expo East, New York.

Underling the quality of the product and the all-Italian savoir faire displayed on all these occasions, the Area collections are taking part in the fashion shows organized by Anfao.

The first quarter 2005 was also marked by the organization of Area advertizing campaigns. The common denominator of all three lines (K:Actor, Genesis and Oliviero Contini) is their fashion language, but each one expresses the strength and spirit which distinguishes it from the others. The eyewear remains the true star.

Materials available for the collections are acetate, acetate and metal combinations. Rhinestones continue to illuminate the models for both younger consumers and more classical tastes. Shapes are still large and wraparound, accompanied by lively colours and contrasting matches. The toric sun lenses are a major innovation and some models are making their debut with multibase lenses, a veritable breakthrough in the design and technology of sun protection.

The next date with Area is scheduled for Mido 2005.
