Traditional and historical, mineral lenses have always boasted unique optical properties: natural, recyclable composition, perfect colors, everlasting resistance to scratching, lightness and extraordinary solidity, anti-reflection, water-repelling and dust-proof treatments.

The Alain Mikli and Starck Eyes sunglasses benefit from the technique and patented innovations of the vision frames. The collection is divided into two lines: city and travel.

The lenses for the city glasses change color to adapt to different light conditions depending on the time of day, the seasons and the environment. The photochromic treatment allows the glass to darken in the presence of ultraviolet rays and to lighten when the intensity diminishes. Colors are stable and long lasting: brown, gray or yellow, photochromic mineral lenses ensure effective protection and optimized contrast in any light conditions.
