XYiwear at Silmo with Nxt lenses

VidiVici Italia has produced the second collection with the XYiwear label which will be officially launched at Silmo 2003 in Paris.

The first collection made its debut at Silmo in 2002 and today, just one year later, the Xyiwear evolution is ready. Much more technological, this line of eyeglasses fitted with clip-ons has been perfected down to the tiniest detail, but above all it features something that's absolutely new in the type of lenses chosen for the clip-ons.

The result of an Industrial Design project under patent to VidiVici Italy since last year, the concept is the same: minimal eyeglass frames in nylor metal with a simple slot on the bridge for the insertion of the wraparound clip-on with the Nxt lenses from Intercast Europe. A great new idea that makes this collection the maximum expression of technology in the field of sight protection.

Nxt lenses have exceptional optical and mechanical properties. Guaranteed shatterproof for life, resistant to shock, scratching, chemical and atmospheric agents, lightweight and comfortable for clear and prolonged vision, they offer levels of protection and reliability that are superior to any other material.

Thanks to the qualities of Nxt it has been possible to produce the new Xyiwear collection from a creative as well as a design aspect. The eight shapes of eyeglass frames in nylor metal, with a wide field of vision making them ideal for graduated lenses, are perfectly hidden behind a one-piece clip-on that comes in two shapes and is fitted with the Nxt lenses.

To emphasize the combination of technology and aesthetics, particular attention has been given to the choice of colors and the frame/clip-on color matches; they range from roviex to smoke and from G15 to flashes of gold and silver.
