The first Alain Afflelou opens in Spain

Opening at Valladolid, the Spanish city 200 km north-west of Madrid, is the first Alain Afflelou Optico store, the new sign following last June's acquisition of the Optica Carrefour chain. Gradually over the next three weeks, the other 72 outlets in Spain will also be changed.

In the meantime, in France Alain Afflelou is trying out his second sign in the Aquitaine region, which should be a development of the old 'L'Optique Carrefour', but the new name is not yet known. By May, however, about thirty stores will have the new sign.
