The Fedon Group Consolidates Growth in the First Three Months of 2003
The Vallesella di Cadore-based Fedon Group, world leader in the eyewear cases and accessories sector, published its figures for the first three months of 2003. With billings of 16,100 million euros, an increase of 24.6% compared to the same period of the previous year, the company that's listed in the Second Marché of the Paris Bourse has demonstrated that after a fairly bumpy ride in 2002, prospects are again looking good.
The figures for the three month period in fact continue the positive trend that began in the second half of 2002 (a 17.14% increase compared to the first half of 2001), with the return to a full portfolio of orders, which is also thanks to the success of the new collections presented at Mido 2003.
This decisive turnaround in trend has also affected the line of writing and desk articles, Giorgio Fedon 1919, and has given the Group high hopes of gaining more ground this year, despite the recent increase in uncertainties on the international market.
