Silhouette: Tropical Sun in Paris
On the occasion of Silmo, which will be held in Paris from October 17 through 20, Silhouette will present to the press the world's first ever preview of the new sun collection 2004.
Developed around a tropical theme, the presentation will be made on October 16 at 7.30 p.m., at the prestigious Hotel Ritz, 15 Place Vendôme, Paris. Invitations went to the fashion editors of major European magazines and journalists on publications in the optics sector for a total of almost 200 people.
The evening will have two special guests: Doctor Keith Manuel, Nasa's official optometrist, and astronaut, Marsha Ivins; in an interview with the famous German actress and presenter, Sandra Speichert, they will be describing in detail their experiences with Silhouette glasses and the reasons behind a successful collaboration such as the one linking Silhouette to Nasa.
The two protagonists will repeat the interview the following day at a press conference to be held at Paris Expo in the Espace 2000 hall from 1 to 2.30 p.m., which will be open to all Silmo visitors.
