
'SightNight' for LensCrafters
Once again, this Halloween the LensCrafters Foundation in the Usa will be asking children who go from door to door for candies to invite people to donate the glasses they are no longer using.
The SightNight campaign, sponsored by LensCrafters (Luxottica) and Lions Club International, is also aimed directly at consumers and the program's particular need this year is for bifocal lenses.
The glasses (which will be recycled and personally donated to the international missions in developing countries) can be taken to the stores in the LensCrafters chain. Last year around 27,500 volunteers collected over 200,000 pairs of used glasses.
