Safilo: first Boucheron Eyewear models
Safilo has unveiled the first 4 models of the Boucheron Eyewear collection, born from the cooperation between the company and the Grucci Group, which has lead to the licensing agreement with the french jeweller.
Superstar and Tv Star are female sunglasses in acetate with large wrap frames bestow a touch of mystery fit for a diva: ultra-exclusive bejewelled models are the quintessential expression of luxury accessories. Superstar is an oval butterfly model, while Tv Star is characterised by rectangular, square lines.
The frames' temples, which are solid and striking, are adorned by a stunning laser-engraved serpent motif which uncoils along the entire temple, stretching all the way to the side of the front. The coils of the snake are decorated with tiny, sparkling Swarovski crystals to match the colour of the acetate.
The colour palette reveals classic, sophisticated hues: Superstar comes in shades of red with matching ornamentation and dark grey lenses, green with emerald ornamentation and matching lenses, or black with black ornamentation and dark grey lenses; Tv Star, meanwhile, is available in dark olive with ornamentation in black and brown lenses, red with matching decoration and dark grey lenses, green with emerald decoration and dark green lenses, or black with black decoration and dark grey lenses.
The other two models, Movie Star and Rock Star, are female sunglasses in acetate sport a large, rectangular design for Movie Star and a butterfly shape for Rock Star: both lines support a full wraparound style.
Temples play a starring role in both frames, attracting attention with a decorative motif adorning the initial section: sparkling Swarovski crystals trace brightly coloured arabesques with geometric patterns that filch inspiration from the orient and intertwine to create brilliant and eye-catching finishing details.
Classic, elegant shades have been chosen for these models: red with matching decoration and dark grey lenses, green with emerald decoration and green lenses, or black with jet decoration and dark grey lenses for Movie Star, while Rock Star is available in shades of black with black decoration and red with matching decoration.
