OPTI ZÜRICH 2003 Cancelled

OPTI ZÜRICH, the eyewear fair programmed for September 2003, will not take place. The announcement came from O.K.Messen GmbH, the company that also handles the organization of OPTI MÜNCHEN. The decision was taken because of the increasing and significant cutbacks the fair has had to make: avoided by many well-known exhibitors, OPTI ZÜRICH has in fact lost capability and credibility in the sector.

But it could be to the advantage of the Munich fair: already taking shape is a plan to include a pavilion for Swiss exhibitors within the framework of OPTI MÜNCHEN 2004.
