International Vision Expo East, New Dates for 2004 Edition

International Vision Expo East, the prestigious eyewear fair has scheduled new dates for 2004 edition. The fair will take place at Jacob Javits Center, New York City, with the following program: conference:
March 25 - 28, 2004 - exhibits: March 26 - 28, 2004. The 2004 show was previously scheduled for the week prior from March 19 to 21, 2004.

Show managers note that the announcement of the new dates follows exhibitor requests to move the show to the end of March. "While show dates are locked in years in advance, the option to move the 2004 dates to the end of the month was just recently made available to us by the Javits," says Eileen Baird, Vice President and Show Manager of International Vision Expo. "We were suddenly afforded the opportunity to move the show back a week in 2004, and since that's what exhibitors wanted, that's what we did."

Show managers also note that dates for International Vision Expo East 2005 are still scheduled for earlier in the month from March 11 to 13, 2005. "While we are already locked into earlier dates for 2005, should the facility's availability fluctuate down the road and provide us with more options our industry wants us to explore, we will certainly revisit them," adds Baird.
