Gucci: twenty candidates for De Sole successor

Francois-Henri Pinault, president of Artemis and, through Ppr, controller of Gucci, told monthly magazine, L'Expansion, that the names of Domenico De Sole's and Tom Ford's successors will be announced in the spring, after the presentation of the latest Gucci collection by the American stylist.

Referring specifically to De Sole, Pinault pointed out that there were around 20 candidates. The president also reconfirmed Ppr's commitment to luxury goods 'which has important potential for growth. We are increasingly convinced that the decision to invest in it was the right one' he concluded.
