Gas: on the 'scent' of eyewear

Announced during the Tfwa World Exhibition at Cannes, the licensing agreement between Grotto SpA, owner of the Gas brand, and Eurocosmesi for the production and distribution of a line of perfumes which should debut at the next Cosmoprof 2004 with a fragrance for men.

Revenues forecast by Grotto, whose 2002 billings from clothing and accessories were 121.8 million euros, is 30 million euros over the first five years. After the Cartorama partnership for stationery and now perfume, the company also aims at new agreements for jewelry, footwear and eyewear.
