Fedon: a year of recovery
Fedon has put behind it a period characterized by light and shade with the end of third-quarter sales confirming the trend of the previous two by rising to 42,680 million euros.
For company president, Callisto Fedon, these good results strengthen the recovery that is underway and, despite the continuing crisis that is hitting the industry, indicate a turnaround in trend for the Group and the positive reception of the new lines of eyewear cases and accessories by all distribution channels in Italy and at its branches abroad.
The route to strengthening its structure also continued during the period: the Group finalized an agreement which will give it control of Expoplay, a company based in Pieve di Cadore (Belluno) which specializes in the production of store display stands. An important strategic decision as it reinforces its relationships with opticians also in the consultancy and services sector.
Sales are also positive for leather items and desk and writing materials under the Giorgio Fedon 1919 and Sos brands.
With the third quarter's good performance and a portfolio of orders amounting to 16.8 million euros, the company has positive forecasts as to the year-end budget.
