Charity Donations, Valentino Rossi's Eyewear on Sale on the Web

The eyewear worn by Valentino Rossi will soon be on sale online. The testimonial for Arnette (by Luxottica), who yesterday won the GP at the Mugello Racetrack ahead of Capirossi and Biaggi, has donated, together with other teams and sponsors, various personal items that will be sold on the www.eBay.it site. Ebay Italia and Dorna Sport, the company that organizes the World motorcycle championships, have agreed to support the work begun in Africa by the charity organization, Riders for Health.

'We are very pleased about this new partnership with eBay Italia', said Dorna's ceo, Carmelo Ezpeleta. 'Together with the entire MotoGP team, we now have the chance to raise substantial funds to support the invaluable work of Riders in Africa'.As well as Valentino's eyewear, Manuel Poggiali's eyewear, a jacket signed by Loris Capirossi and a backpack signed by Max Biaggi and Marco Melandri will also go on sale.
