Carrera sponsors the Fittipaldi Dingman Racing Team

On Thursday, May 29, the Safilo sunglasses brand, Carrera Sport USA, and the racing team Fittipaldi Dingman Racing (FDR), signed a sponsorship contract for the whole of 2003 and 2004. The agreement, which was reached thanks to intermediation by Gravity Television & Sport Marketing, is for the CART Champ Car World Series.

Led by former Formula One champion, Emerson Fittipaldi, and the young financier, James Dingman, the team is placing its hopes on the Portuguese driver, Tiago Monteiro.
Conrad Casser, General Manager of CARRERA Sport USA, commented: "We're very proud to collaborate with the Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing team and its driver, Tiago Monteiro, because the sponsorship allows us to go back to our origins: the Carrera brand name in fact comes from the famous CARRERA Panamerica Races.'
