Anne Geddes looks into licenses

The French subsidiary of La Quinta, a consultancy and services company for the fashion world, has been asked to develop brand license projects for Anne Geddes, the New Zealand photographer well-known for her shots of children.

Specifically, La Quinta must find a company that is interested in producing a line of children's clothes, but also bags, watches, eyewear and cosmetics. The more detailed plan refers to the childrenswear market (babies and toddlers), but future projects also include household linen, giftware and furnishings.

For the Anne Geddes children's collection, launched in November 2001, La Quinta aims at identifying a partner that will become the exclusive producer and distributor for the whole of Europe and for the other countries involved.
