Amo: rapid cleaning of contact lenses

In Milan on Tuesday, September 30, Advanced Medical Optics (Amo) will officially present a new system for cleaning contact lenses: Complete RapidCare is a device the size of a credit card which will clean contact lenses in just two minutes thanks to a patented frequency agitator used exclusively with the Complete MoisturePlus single solution.

In this way, it deep cleans contact lenses eliminating deposits, bacteria, fungus, (even acanthamoeba and pseudomonas, bacteria that cause keratitis and corneal ulcers), guaranteeing long-term improved hygiene for contact lens wearers.

With Complete RapidCare the absorption of preservatives is minimized thanks to the short time the device is used. Numerous independent studies have demonstrated that Complete RapidCare (used exclusively with the special formulation, Complete MoisturePlus single solution) significantly cuts down all the most frequent microorganisms that can be a danger to the eyes, and prevents inflammation and bacterial keratitis caused by poor hygiene.
