Agreement between Cébé and Optygone

Cébé, the French company which is part of the Marcolin group, has signed an agreement with Optygone, the company holding the patent that allows base 8 or over ophthalmic lenses to be mounted in frames. The partnership between the two companies will be called Opticall.

In practice, this is a 'turnkey' service that will allow opticians to meet the requests of the increasing numbers of sports consumers who need sunglasses fitted with corrective lenses: the service includes cutting and mounting the lenses. Optygone returns the frames with the corrective lenses and the original lenses.

For Opticall Cébé has selected three models from its collection (Score, Stream and Sport), and 5 lenses (Cébé 500, Cébé 1000, Cébé 1500, Cébé 1500 Multichrome and Cébé 2000). Opticall is currently available in France, Switzerland and Belgium.
