Web Collection 2003: the New 'Leather' Line is on the Way

For summer 2003 Web (by Luxottica) proposes a collection of unisex models with a wide choice of colors for lenses and frames combined with optical glass quality that guarantees absolute protection from ultraviolet rays and UVA. Making its debut is one of the most interesting newcomers - the 'Leather' line: five models featuring retro-style shapes and colors with leather-covered double bridges. Colors are leather, dark brown and black with changes in green, Bordeaux, blue and lilac.

Lenses also come in various colors: black and mustard for lenses in solid colors, blue, gray and orange for mirror lenses, and green, black and sand for shaded lenses. Shapes are drop (mod. 2067), tapered (mod. 2064), slightly squared-off (mod. 2071), round (mod. 2063) or oval (mod. 2065). Metal frames are in classical colors: pewter silver and gun metal.

The colors of the acetate models range from brown to gray, from sand to blue, from green to orange, from Bordeaux to black. In some cases (mod. 2540), acetate is combined with metal for the structure framing the lenses, or wraparound lenses have a single strip (mod. 2542) at the top and nothing at the bottom. Other models are squared-off (bigger lenses for mod. 2544, smaller for mod. 2541) or tapered (mod. 3512).

The models with metal frames and side pieces (mod. 2059 and 2061) also feature acetate coatings, whereas extra-light, one-piece, wraparound lenses are supported by a metal strip (mod. 2068), or two large lenses are applied to the metal structure and are either flush (mod. 3018) or protruding (mod. 3017).
