US: Top Optical retailers Sign On To Support "Check Yearly, See Clearly"

The Vision Council of America (VCA) announced recently that approximately one-third of the nation's top optical retailers have agreed to officially support the Check Yearly campaign which aims to increase the number of Americans who receive regular comprehensive eye exams.

A primary objective of the campaign is for eye care professionals to distribute Check Yearly educational materials to their patients. By recruiting the support of top optical retailers, the campaign can more quickly reach its goals.

The American Association of Dispensing Ophthalmologists (AADO) has become the first ophthalmology organization to officially support Check Yearly. See Clearly. All AADO members will receive complimentary Check Yearly materials to get them started. In addition, to help generate greater support among ophthalmologists, a press release will be sent out shortly announcing AADO's support.
