Indo to distribute Lacoste eyewear on the Spanish market
The Spanish eyewear company, Indo, has signed an agreement with L'Amy, France's number one company in the eyewear product distribution sector. Under this agreement, Indo will distribute Lacoste eyewear in Spain (L'Amy already holds the license). Until now, Lacoste has been distributed in Spain by a network owned by L'Amy; this network will now be dedicated to the distribution of Seiko eyewear under license from Lunette Grasset Associés (LGA), also owned by the L'Amy group.
Recently, Indo also signed an agreement with LGA: from January 1, 2003, LGA will handle the French side of distribution for the Carolina Herrera sunglasses collection (under Indo license). LGA intends to garner support from the wave of promotional activities for the stylist's perfumes, Chic and 212 Men, currently being distributed in France.
In the meantime, Indo continues to directly distribute its other labels, Indo, XS di Paco Rabanne, Chupa Chups and James Dean, on the transalpine market.
