Gucci at Silmo: Squared and Futuristic Shape

The Gucci eyewear collection (by Safilo) is distinguished by highly innovative models in terms of both stylistic and creative contents as well as from a technological, qualitative point of view.

The first model shown is a pair of glasses with squared and large shape, imbuing these glasses with a lot of personality. The model is realized in acetate in colors of gray, brown, beige, blue, burgundy and black with matching lenses.
A bold frame that covers almost the entire face characterizes some of the most fashionable models in acetate with curved and flat lenses. The same lenses represents the distinguishing element of some very beautiful models in metal.

The lateral protection is also found in a four-lens model with a structure in acetate that has been fashioned into a bold, almost futuristic shape. The lateral lenses resemble portholes and the temples are attached to the lower part of the fronts. The color palette is gorgeous, including some transparent tones like brown, mauve and beige.
A complicated series of processes are required to produce the line of models in acetate characterized by rounded frames through both the fronts and temples. A smart little vertical plaque in metal flourishing the word Gucci has been set into the endpieces. The colorations are essential in order to augment the luxurious appeal of the models: black, pale gray, navy blue and burgundy.

Original and bold styling characterizes the eyewear models that were featured in the latest fashion shows. The raw finished work around the bridge and the fronts is lightened thanks to the metal inset that has been sunk into the acetate.
The lightness of the unrimmed structure is quite apparent in several of the models that tend to base their exclusive allure on the original chromatic spectrum of the lenses, some of which vaunt very bold tones thanks to the mirror effect.
Of special interest, the three mask models are characterized by a fine structure in metal in which the point of attachment on the bridge is guaranteed by a discreet button brandishing the G logo in high relief.
