Del Vecchio: "No Agreement in Sight with Vuitton"

Referring to the Beni Stabili general meeting, Leonardo Del Vecchio stated that Louis Vuitton is not one of the candidates to replace Armani following the divorce from Luxottica announced November 21. The president of the Venetian group explained "some operations are underway, but we cannot make any announcement until they have been signed".

"Louis Vuitton is not involved' Del Vecchio continued - 'some of the companies are listed on the Stock Exchange so I must be careful what I say". When asked if they were foreign or Italian companies, Del Vecchio added: "I cannot answer that, the market is small, however we're working on it and you'll have some news soon."
