La campagna GapKids x ED vede come protagoniste sei ragazze che hanno straordinarie capacità nello snowboard, nel suonare il basso e nell’informatica, essendo sempre se stesse. Lanciata ad agosto negli Stati Uniti, in Canada, in UK, Cina e Giappone, insieme ad una serie di mercati internazionali di interesse, utilizza un selfie della stessa Ellen con le sei ragazze. Gap ha intenzione di impegnarsi a fondo nel sociale: utilizzando l’hashtag #heyworld seguito da un nome, qualsiasi persona può inviare un messaggio di incoraggiamento e amore a qualsiasi ragazza che abbia bisogno di supporto, sostenendola con messaggi positivi.
