Rudy Project back with the Italian National Speed Skating Teams

The Veneto-based brand celebrates 20 years of partnership with the Italian Ice Sports Federation. The Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics are the next target.

Rudy Project, a Veneto-based brand that develops, manufactures, and distributes sunglasses, helmets, goggles, and vision solutions for sports worldwide, is once again supporting the Italian National Speed Skating and Short Track Teams.

The Treviso-based company is celebrating 20 years of partnership with the Italian Ice Sports Federation (FISG). The collaboration began in 2004 and will continue until 2026, with the Milan-Cortina Olympics in focus.

The models currently used by athletes of the FISG-affiliated national teams are the Defender, Cutline, and Turbolence eyewear. The helmets in use are the Nytron Pro (for short track and mass start long track events) and The Wing (for other long track races).

Rudy Project is a well-established brand in the field of sports eyewear and helmets, specializing in creating models designed to meet the needs of athletes across various sports disciplines. Founded in 1985 with the goal of combining technological innovation and ergonomic design, the company is dedicated to developing products that enhance sports performance.

“We proudly celebrate 20 years of collaboration between Rudy Project and the FISG, a journey that began just before the Torino 2006 Olympics and has been marked by the extraordinary victories of an exceptional group of athletes. They have written memorable pages in sports history and are now passionately leading new generations. Speed skating and short track, where speed and performance are essential, embody the DNA of Rudy Project. This partnership has allowed us to push the boundaries of aerodynamics, driving innovation and safety forward,” commented Cristiano Barbazza, CEO and President of Rudy Project.
