Lugana and Fondazione Sozzani celebrate italian culture and talent

The meeting of fashion, art, and wine to honor italian excellence

The Consorzio Lugana strengthens its connection with culture through a collaboration with Fondazione Sozzani, a symbol of innovation and creativity. Together, they work to organize events that celebrate Italian excellence, combining fashion, art, and wine in a synergy that expresses the best of Made in Italy. This partnership reflects the Consorzio’s desire to explore new cultural horizons, promoting talent and highlighting quality in every form.

On September 21st, during Milan Fashion Week, the Consorzio Lugana participated as the official partner of the event hosted by designer Domenico Orefice at Fondazione Sozzani. His collections, a blend of sportswear, tailoring, and artisanal innovation, embody a contemporary and borderless aesthetic. This harmony between modernity and tradition reflects the values of the Consorzio Lugana, which has always been committed to promoting Italian excellence and the quality of its wines.
Edoardo Peduto, Director of the Consorzio Lugana, stated: “Collaborations between the world of wine, fashion, design, and art are essential to enhancing our heritage and introducing innovation through new languages. These worlds, while different, share a passion for excellence and the ability to tell unique stories. Working together allows us to create experiences that transcend the product, helping to elevate the Lugana brand and our region to a level of global prestige.”

On September 24th, the Consorzio Lugana renewed its commitment to promoting talent and creativity with an invitation-only event dedicated to culture. During the gathering at Fondazione Sozzani, the book La Lunga Strada di Sabbia was presented, featuring the photographs of Paolo Di Paolo, with the presence of Silvia Di Paolo, curator of the book, Giovanna Calvenzi, photo editor, Gianluigi Colin, journalist, and Bruce Weber, director of the documentary on Paolo Di Paolo.
The book documents the extraordinary photographic reportage of Paolo Di Paolo, capturing Italians on vacation during the summer of 1959, from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Adriatic; from Ventimiglia to Trieste (from the western to the eastern border).
Once again, the Consorzio confirms its dedication to supporting initiatives that celebrate the creative genius and excellence of Made in Italy.
