A hot season for Woodys
Woodys - among the upcoming protagonists of MIDO 2024 - shot its communication campaign for S/S 2024 “Colorado” in the desert. It features characters who live in complete freedom, without hang-ups or restrictions, exploring their real authentic nature through exclusive and unique articles.
42 models
The campaign introduces the new collection, complete with 42 models for a total of 189 items. The eyewear is faithful to the spirit and identity of the brand, building a range that stands out for the combination of colours brought together in harmony.
The women’s collection is guided by comfort, and presents the new OBE five-barrel hinge finished in gold, rose gold or silver; the geometric temples are decorated with particular engraving. In the men’s collections, the new OBE five-barrel hinge appears on most models.
Two new and distinctive pairs of reading glasses are also introduced.
Materials
Quality remains a brand priority and thus materials are selected according to excellence: Mazzucchelli Italian acetate, German OBE hinges, Japanese titanium and beta titanium. In addition, the sunglasses lenses are produced by Carl Zeiss Vision.
Sustainability also plays a key role, thanks to the increasing use of recycled acetate and bio-acetate, now used for 40% of the collection. For Woodys, the need to continue its mission of innovation in the field of sustainability is clear. The improvement of processes, and use of biodegradable, recycled, and eco-friendly materials, are part of the brand’s strategy for ongoing creation of a better future.
