The history of fashion with a click

Thanks to Google, 3000 years of the history of fashion and tradition are to debut online, gathered together in a huge fashion show featuring different styles. The new project “We wear culture” (available on the Google Arts & Culture platform) is the result of a collaborative partnership between the Museum of Textiles in Prato and over 180 renowned cultural institutions from all over the world. Using avantgarde technology, the project allows people to explore styles and looks from different eras, from the Silk Route up to the present day. Iconic items that changed the way of dressing of entire generations are now brought back to life with the help of virtual reality technology.
