The history of design on display in Turin
Created with the aim of promoting the culture of industrial design, the Museo del Design at None, just outside Turin, has become a benchmark for those working in the field or who simply love the sector. The Museum provides an opportunity to retrace the history of design through such iconic objects as the Superleggera chair by Giò Ponti, the Taccia lamp, or the Mezzadro stool by Achille Castiglioni. Covering the period from the beginning of the 1900s to the present day, the exhibition illustrates the changes in tastes and lifestyles that took place during the last century.(Photo: Lampada da tavolo Taccia, ideata da Achille e Piergiacomo Castiglioni e prodotta da Flos nel 1962)
