Lapo Elkann transfers Independent Ideas

Italia Independent Group signed a memorandum of understanding with Publicis Groupe S.A. – one of the leading marketing and communication group – for transferring its shares in Independent Ideas to Publicis Communication.
The proposed operation has an important strategic objective in that Independent Ideas has developed creative expertise and a high standing client portfolio which, thanks to the support of Publicis, could grow even further through the latter’s global network and managerial structure.
The memorandum of understanding is binding for all parties and envisages that definitive agreements regarding the operation are signed by early 2018.
