Anish Kapoor at MACRO Rome
After an absence of over 10 years, renowned artist Anish Kapoor has returned to an Italian museum. Until 17 April 2017, MACRO, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, will host his solo exhibition. Curated by Mario Codognato, the exhibition features a series of reliefs and paintings composed of red and white silicone and paint, as well as some of the monumental sculpturesarchitecture that have made him world famous. Kapoor’s work presents and confronts the dynamics of perception and the power of the metaphor. Light and shade, negative and positive, male and female, solids and voids, concave and convex, natural and artificial, are just some of the polarities specific to his art.
