A capsule collection in the name of tailoring
At Pitti Uomo last week, the Sevenbell group, pioneers of denim manufacturing since 1952, presented a preview of the new capsule collection Roy Roger’s + Liverano&Liverano. The dialog between these two historical Florentine companies has led to the first tailored jeans. The capsule is based on the criteria of couturier Antonio Liverano: lower belt and crotch, rounded back pockets, contrasting green stitching and inside lining with patterns from the Florence couturier’s historical archives. For the project Roy Roger’s used high quality Japanese fabric, which it combined with the study of complex washing processes.
