The charm of filigree

The Yvone Christa label was created in Los Angeles in 1991 by two stylists, Yvonne Clamf and Christina Söderström. Success came quickly after a screenwriter asked them if they would allow their creations to be worn by the stars of two highly successful television series, “Beverly Hills” and “Melrose Place”. Every piece is handmade using an ancient Venetian filigree technique: slender gold and silver wires are shaped and soldered and then given an antique finish. Every year the brand presents three collections that include necklaces, chokers, bracelets, rings, brooches and earrings. A preview of the latest collection, Botanical Garden, was presented last September at Vicenzaoro.
