Oikos among the winners at SBID International Design Awards 2016

Oikos Bronzo Fuso, the new chromomaterial ecosolutions was awarded the prize in the Innovative product design category.“A demonstration of Italian craftsmanship and sustainable innovation” is what the jury members declared. They highlighted how the special finish creates surfaces that can enhance the design of spaces.Award motivation: “a material soft to the touch, scratch-proof and resistant to light, sustainable, enabling infinite personalisation of surfaces”.This success is based on that tailor made aspect. As was highlighted by Vanessa Bradly, SBID chairperson, who specified: “The specific ability Oikos has in interpreting what designers want and in creating off-site, tailor-made samples with its R&D department coordinated by Vicky Syriopoulou is a unique characteristic and confirms that Oikos is an excellence truly difficult to imitate in its sector”.
