Mesh by Luceplan wins the Red Dot 2016

The innovative Mesh lamp by Luceplan, created by Argentinian designer Francisco Gomez Paz, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot “Best of the Best” 2016 prize, one of the biggest and most important design awards at international level. As a result of the experimentation on the potential of LED, a technology that enables lighting systems to be divided up into very small units, Mesh by Francisco Gomez Paz is a striking and highly innovative project that offers various lighting scenarios, customisable according to aesthetic and functional requirements, thanks to the control and adjustment of luminance. Its light, almost transparent structure, composed of a network of metal cables at the junction of which the LEDs are positioned, conceals the real complexity of the product and, dematerialising, focuses the attention exclusively on the light, the real focal point of the lamp.
