In honor of D'Annunzio

At the Residenza Vignale, Milan, on February 11 Pugnale & Nyleve presented the world premiere of “Sufficit Animus”, a limited edition collection in honor of Italian writer Gabriele D'Annunzio. The Fondazione Vittoriale degli Italiani chose the brand from a shortlist of Italian companies because of its characteristics of excellence, research and innovation. Composed of 111 items, “Sufficit Animus” was created to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the loss of the writer’s sight in one eye following a flying accident on January 16, 1916. The round frame is the result of a special combination of steel and acetate enriched with 18-carat gold plating engraved with oriental motifs and featuring leather details.
