“Heroes” on show in Rome

David Bowie & Masayoshi Sukita are the stars of the “Heroes” exhibit hosted by Thesign Gallery of Rome and supported by Hard Rock Cafe Rome during Rome Art Week scheduled to run until November 19. The exhibition includes about 40 photographs from Sukita’s archive about Bowie and is probably one of the most important about the artist from London. The relationship between the artists is universally known because of the iconic shots for the cover of the “Heroes” album, but few know about the deep bond of friendship that grew over the years between the photographer and the “White Duke” and which led to extraordinarily beautiful, intimate shots from everyday life.
