
DaTE: avant-garde is back in Milan
After last year’s extraordinary success DaTE will be back in the heart of Milan’s new skyline at The Mall in Porta Nuova, from October 1 through 3. It will have two free entrances: from Piazza Alvar Aalto or Piazza Lina Bo Bardi.Dedicated to the most innovative eyewear, DaTE is the event that embraces different worlds, personalities, identities, and the ways of conceiving objects with a particularly creative design. Based on an idea and the determination of Dante Caretti and Cristina Frasca, it is the outcome of ten years’ constant work by enthusiastic people who know and love the eyewear sector, who are always ready to meet a challenge and pursue a dream. Last year The Mall had more than 1700 visitors including buyers and professionals who came for a handson experience of surprising creations by over 90 exhibitors from all over the world.For the 2016 edition the selection of exhibitors is complete: over 100 companies are the expression of sector excellence, from established brands to more experimental ones that will amaze and entice the public of operators.The entire world is represented at DaTE: UK, Austria, France, USA, Germany, Russia, Korea, Japan, Canada and, naturally, Italy, to mention just a few countries.
