Art on the walls

GioPagani, international design brand with a strong link to Fashion, presented a preview of Wallpaper 2016 graphics in Paris. The graphic designs were created for the Wall&Decò 2016 wallpaper collection – 10 different creative results that represent art in a replicable format and the focal point of an inexhaustible source of inspiration: travel. The collaboration with Wall&Decò, the company founded by Christian Benini in 2005, dates back to 2009, when the first GioPagani collection was designed.The 2016 proposals include Melancholy: the “urban” painting that is free of all meaning and promotes only an aesthetic sense, assuming the function of decoration, the fruit of the collaboration between the architect Gio Pagani and the Street Artist Giacomo Morelli. Among the other graphic designs that complete the collection there is Voyage, dedicated to Baudelaire’s poem of the same name, Yardbirds: the carp, the ultimate expression of the tradition of Japanese tattoos, and Toxicity, inspired by Aztec tribal decorations.
