Wayfarer summer edition: iridescent colors for lenses and frames

Eyewear that changes color thanks to a transforming coating Ray-Ban, the brand that has always pioneered experiments with materials and shapes that would become "legends", has begun a new chapter in the successful iconic models series: the launch of "Iridescence", a remarkable fluid color for the summer 2014 edition of Wayfarer lenses and frames.   The new product for summer 2014 derives from the performance of the colors of flash lenses and acetate frames with reflections that are so iridescent that they appear liquid. It is not an optical effect but a "transforming" coating: the micro-crystal silica lenses are covered with highly refractive metal oxide which, depending on the strength and angle of light, produces different shades of color that blend together in a "liquid" result of a thousand nuances that have never been seen before.   The same coating is also used on frames that respond to sunlight by releasing colors that are always different. Because of this coating, the visual effects of light on the lens and frames are infinite and make every model extremely versatile.   It is perfectly in tune with the mood color for summer 2014 expressed in bright, vibrant hues ranging from blue to purple, from orange to light blue. The new Ray-Ban Wayfarer models are a different style and vision experience at all times of the day. Even when there is little light, the colors are "animated" and produce a mixture of changing nuances.
