Success at Mido 2014 for Essilor Instrument Division

The "Organising Vision" stand and new developments captured the attention of a constant flow of high level eye care professionals The 44th edition of Mido came to a successful close and Essilor was there with a stand entirely devoted to the latest sophisticated new developments from its Instruments Division. "We left Mido 2014 with huge satisfaction and optimum forecasts" – commented Christophe Di Trapani, Instruments & EBusiness Manager Essilor Italia. "Visitors were considerably interested in all the new developments presented by the Essilor Instruments Division; without a doubt, the new Mr Blue 2.0 grinder with the exclusive M'eye Sign function that can micro-engrave lenses with a diamond point, was perceived by eye care professionals as a real opportunity for creating interest at local level and traffic in the outlet".   "There were numerous meetings and discussions with customers", Di Trapani continued, "a positive sign which demonstrates that the market reacts to and rewards those who can offer highly technological products, the result of a strong commitment to research and development."   For presenting its three business lines, the Essilor Instrument Division stand was conceived and designed to reproduce an outlet. The new technologies for taking measurements and animating the outlet, optometry and the laboratory are part of the Organising Vision concept.   Visitors were able to touch and try the Group's innovative instruments and take a closer look at the totally leading-edge technology that optimizes the flow of information and work in the store, with two ambitious aims: minimize the risk of errors and, primarily, create more time to devote to the most invaluable resource – the consumer.
