MARCHON ITALY HAS A NEW CEO

The company has announced the appointment of Adriano De Sandre starting January 2015 The 58-year-old electronics engineer from Belluno has been General Manager of operations at Marchon Italia since 2013 and his professionalism has led to this new position. A brilliant career ranging from management control to industrial operations management in such major companies as Fiat-Magneti Marelli and Gruppo Zambelli, Adriano De Sandre also boasts consolidated experience of over 20 years in the eyewear sector, first at Safilo, where he was head of management control and planning and procurement manager. Subsequently, he joined De Rigo as industrial operations manager and member of the management committee. "Thanks to his expertise and knowledge of the sector, Adriano De Sandre will contribute to guaranteeing the significant development of a globally strategic market like Italy, to strengthening the subsidiary's importance within the Group with regard to research and innovation and at production and commercial level.
