GOOD PRACTICES WITH CERTOTTICA AND DOLOMITICERT

GOOD PRACTICES WITH CERTOTTICA AND DOLOMITICERT

From safety on the ski slopes to design and the use of plasma: the Longarone institutes' projects are acclaimed at international level International acclaim for Certottica and Dolomiticert: three projects by the Longarone-based institutes were described as "good practices" during the first day of information about the new Interreg V Italy-Austria Cross-border Cooperation Program held in Udine on Thursday, October 30.   In the Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia auditorium, authorities described to participants from Veneto, Friuli, Bolzano, Carinthia, Salzburg and Tyrol the three studies carried out by the Belluno institutes: Dolomiticert is the protagonist of "SKIPROTECH", "On the prevention of Alpine skiing accidents: safety as a success factor in Alpine regions", which led to the implementation of trial protocols for testing the effectiveness of protection devices for skiing (from personal devices to nets and matrasses for ski slopes). Certottica was identified for its research into "Using plasma to improve decorative treatments of plastic: protective coating, printing and bonding", a comprehensive investigation of the results that can be achieved with still little-explored vacuum techniques. Praise also for the Training Area at the Longarone institute with its Interreg Desire Project – "Future design trends: the materials, shapes, colors and emotions of a successful product", the leitmotif of which was Design in all its forms. "Huge satisfaction for the distinction achieved by our institutes." – stated General Manager Luigino Boito – "This is also an incentive to further improve the Program that was presented today and allocates almost 100 million euros."
