Gloryfy wins “Red Dot Award: Product Design” 2014

The top award in the product design category went to the innovative GP3 transformer POL goggles In the search for the best products in terms of design and faithful to its motto "In search of excellence", this year the Red Dot jury chose Austrian company gloryfy to receive its top award in the product design category for the innovative GP3 transformer POL goggles.   After winning the action/goggles category of the ISPO Award GOLD – the highly coveted award in the sports sector – the Austrian company and its innovative GP3 transformer POL goggles also won the top award in one of the world's most important product contests for high quality and innovative design: the Red Dot Award. Gloryfy is now one of the best names in international product design.   This success will be duly celebrated on July 7, 2014, with about 1200 guests from all over the world. Gloryfy will receive the well-deserved trophy during the award ceremony at the Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany. GP3 transformer POL goggles will be on display for 4 weeks at Essen's Red Dot Design Museum before becoming part of the permanent exhibition.   Gloryfy's GP3 goggles are the lightest on the market. With no frame and weighing only 68 grams, they offer maximum comfort and an optimum field of vision. The filter in the high-contrast I-Flex® Transformer unbreakable mirrored lens changes from level 1 to level 3 depending on the intensity of the light. This gives better visibility and maximum eye protection in any light conditions, from the poorest to brilliant sunshine. In addition to this, they have an anti-fog treatment and 100% UVA/UVB protection. This extremely lightweight and unbreakable model is perfect not only for skiers but for everyone who is passionate about outdoor sports!   Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, Red Dot creator and CEO, talked about the process for deciding the Red Dot Award: "The 40 experts devoted maximum care and attention to evaluating the quality of the proposals. Thanks to their provenance – no fewer than 53 countries - the particular cultural aspects of each project were also evaluated. But the jury awarded only the best products."   With about 2,000 products, the Red Dot Design Museum covers an area of over 4,000 square meters and hosts the largest contemporary design exhibition in the world. The products that received the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014 will be displayed in an evocative exhibition from July 8 through August 3, 2014. Touching and trying the products will be specifically encouraged in this hands-on exhibition: visitors can check out the best creations and get to know and touch the incredible quality and uniqueness of unbreakable GP3 transformer POL goggles by gloryfy.
