Giancarla Agnoli, Honorary President of Marchon Italia

Agnoli has resigned from her position as CEO of the Group, effective from January 2015 Giancarla Agnoli will leave her position as CEO of Marchon Italia in January 2015. The announcement was made by the American Group. With experience developed in the field of eyewear since the early '80s, Giancarla Agnoli has played a strategic part in Marchon's international expansion. Her professional achievements include the multinational's decision to operate in Italy, and her position as CEO of the branch in the Belluno district since 1995.   As the Group's international Creative Director, she also perfected its stylistic know-how. Born and bred in Switzerland with education centred on international economics, Giancarla Agnoli possesses managerial skills and a strong inclination for fashion and design; hence, the progressive fashion-centred features of Marchon's offer. She also created the setting for a Style Centre and production facility in Puos di Alpago, which is one of the Group's most distinctive assets to date.   Claudio Gottardi, President and Managing Director of Marchon Eyewear said: "I wish to thank Giancarla Agnoli both personally and on behalf of the Board of Directors for the significant work carried out over the years, for her total dedication to guiding Marchon Italia, and for her extensive professional expertise, extraordinary passion and rare skills, which she has revealed on a daily basis. Besides the role of Honorary President, Giancarla Agnoli will partner Marchon Italia as consultant for the Group's Style Centre.
